  • Dehydration can cause dryness of your lips. Drink plenty of water, it keeps your lips fresh.
  • Deficiency of vitamin B, essential fatty acids and iron can cause scaling of lips.
  • Rub a slice of cucumber on your lips, apply neem extract, and use aloe Vera gel
  • Don't lick your lips, it will cause more chapping. Licking lips doesn't moisturize them.
  • Apply lip balm or petroleum jelly on your lips to keep them smooth.
  • Don’t wet your lips with tongue which lose moister.
  • Apply butter or milk cream on your lips to remove the dry dead skin and to make them smooth.
  • Use a soft toothbrush to buff your lips so that it removes the deposit of dead cells which causes more dry and flak.
  • Apply lip balm or moisturizer on your lips to make them moist before applying lip color.
  • Apply castor oil or glycerine on dry lips to make them smooth.

Tips for beautiful and Healthy Nails:

* Increase the use of food items such as carrot, cheese, milk, almonds, etc., if your nails are dry.

* Wear hand gloves while doing household works.

* Wash your hands and dry them with a soft towel and apply a good hand moisturizer every night before you sleep.

* If you want to keep your nails strong and shine, resort to nail buffing. It augments the blood supply to the nail, in turn stimulating its growth.

* It is wise to eat foods rich in vitamin C, and protein, if nails are suffering from hangnails.

* One should drink a lot of water, to keep the nails healthy.

* Avoid using your nails as tools. This means no picking, scratching, digging, pinching, etc.

* Nails may crack if there is a deficiency of hydrochloric acid.

* Addition of spirulina in diet helps the nails strong.

* Foods rich in zinc prevent white spots on the nails.

* To remove the dryness of your face, add a spoonful of jeera to a glass of water and allow it to boil for few minutes. Wash your face after it cools.

* Mix Sandal powder, turmeric powder in few drops of milk. Apply on your face and neck for 10-15minutes. Wash off with cold water.

* Few drops of tomato mixed with 2 drops of lime juice. Apply on your face and neck. This mixture reduces skin discolorations and even wrinkles.

* Massage the foot with coconut oil to remove the cracks on heel.

* Melt paraffin wax with little mustard oil and apply on the affected area. Leave it overnight. Heels will become smooth within 10-15 days.

* Cut a lemon in half and scrub your knees with it. Continuous usage of this will reduce the darkness of your knees.

* To remove the black spots on the face, apply the paste of saffron added with honey. To remove the blackness of body, mash a ripen banana and make a paste by adding a little curd in it. Massage the paste on the body and leave it for 15-20min and take bath. Continuous usage for every 4 days makes the skin smooth, fair and soft.

* Apply a mix of sandalwood oil and olive oil. Massage it for few minutes and leave it over night. Spots and scars will disappear soon.

* Mix half-a-cup honey to your bath water for soft and smooth skin

* Apply Lemon juice, cucumber juice added with a pinch of turmeric powder daily for 15min reduces the darks on neck and underarms.

* Rub with lemon peel to remove the scars on your hands and feet.

* For pimple: Mix the curd with turmeric powder and 2drops of oil. Apply it on the face.
